Stroke, heart attack, and sepsis are critical health conditions and the focus of multidisciplinary teams at Lompoc Valley Medical Center (LVMC) to improve care for those patients. Come hear LVMC Emergency Department Medical Director Dr. Steven Reichel, MD and Emergency Department/Critical Care Unit Director Lorraine Jones, MSN, speak about the acute hospital’s stroke, STEMI and sepsis programs.
Dr. Steven Reichel, MD
is a family medicine specialist and is the medical director of LVMC’s Emergency Department. He graduated from Keck School Of Medicine at USC in 1986.
Lorraine Jones has been the director of LVMC’s Emergency Department since 2014 and is now also director of LVMC’s Critical Care Unit. She spent almost 20 years as a registered nurse at LVMC. Jones earned a Master’s Degree in Nursing Leadership and Management from Western Governors University
