The Development and Finance Committee of the Foundation is the planning and fundraising arm of the corporation. Reporting to the Foundation Board through its Chairperson, the Committee is responsible for acquiring funds for all projects supported by the Foundation.
Membership on the Development and Finance Committee should not be limited to Board Members but should be composed of individuals representative of broad community interests. The Committee meets on call by the Chairperson.
Understanding all healthcare needs of the area – the Hospital and its physical and operational growth requirements is a major assignment for the Committee. Another major responsibility is the development and management of fundraising subcommittees to acquire the monies required for stated purposes successfully, i.e., Special Events Subcommittee.
